What can homeopathy help with?Homeopathy can be effective in a wide range of conditions, as homeopathy takes the individual into account, not just the illness.
All of your symptoms will be looked at and assessed individualy and you will be given a remedy that takes ALL of YOU into account - this is called a 'constitutional' remedy.
The Queens homeopath, in the 1970's, Margery Blackie, described it as follows: ‘The constitutional remedy is the one which is most effective in treating the individual in the sum total of his strengths and weaknesses; mentally, emotionally and physically.'
As the name implies Constitutional prescibing is related to your constitution, and works on a deep level, aiming for the root of the problem.
Homeopathy can also be used when you have a minor illness like a cold. This is called an 'Acute' remedy. And the remedy will match the symptoms of your cold. Depending on your cold symptoms you could be given one of the following common cold remedies: Aconite, Bryonia, Gelsemium and Ferrum Phos to name a few.
